Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payables/Receivables Executive to join our finance team in Seattle. The role is primarily for one of our subsidiaries, and the employment / consultant agreement will be with the subsidiary.
The ideal candidate will manage daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge working with Federal Agencies will be a plus.
- Knowledge working with Sage Financial ERP system will be a plus.
- Reviewing timesheets for employees. Update Job Cost module in the financial system and provide inputs for the payroll system.
- Reviewing Expense Reports from employees, and ensuring all reports have valid bills.
- Following up with employees to collect receipts, and then make payments for their reimbursements.
- Prepare invoices and submit them via email / Federal Govt portals.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with the month-end closing process by preparing financial reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the finance team with audits and compliance-related tasks.
- Provide occasional support for office administration and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to come to Bellevue office (Minimum 3 days a week).
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payables/receivables or a similar finance role.
- Good to have: Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
