We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to join our global team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic solutions, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and supporting partner enablement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of selling enterprise solutions in the cloud and AI domains.
Responsibilities
- Support Partner Development Managers in selling solutions to prospective partners.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
- Present products at events, conferences, seminars, and webinars.
- Collaborate with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals involving intricate sales cycles.
- Model financial business cases and ROI for each sales opportunity.
- Identify partner pain points and requirements, aligning them with suitable solutions.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations and demos that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses.
- Facilitate effective communication of client needs to the Customer Success team during handover and provide feedback to Product and Product Marketing teams for future enhancements.
- Gather and document competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with Partner Development Managers to expand strategic accounts.
Required Qualification
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer with 15+ years of experience.
- Solutions Architect Certification with any of the Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
- Strong background in B2B SaaS, in the cloud, and AI domain.
- Demonstrated ability to approach sales and build customer relationships in innovative ways.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Data-driven mindset and a growth-oriented approach.
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities in social settings.
- Capacity to multitask and thrive in a complex sales environment.
- Track record of success in selling complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
- Competence in explaining and presenting complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Solid technical foundation with understanding and/or hands-on experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as tools for automation, orchestration, CI/CD, scripting, etc.
- Exceptional presentation and creativity skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
